ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Hiram City Operations Manager’s Office, 217 Main Street, Hiram, Georgia 30141 until:
January 29, 2013 – 2:00 PM EST
For the project known as:
FY2013 – Fitzgerald Street Drainage Project
Bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. The OWNER of the project is the City of Hiram. The Engineer/Architect for the project is Stevenson & Palmer Engineering, Inc.
The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:
For all material, labor and equipment for the "Fitzgerald Street Drainage." This includes approximately 550 linear feet of Ditch and four (4) culverts along Fitzgerald Street with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Bids shall be on Unit Price Items.
Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same.

All Bidders are required to purchase Bidding Documents, Specifications and Drawings from the office of Stevenson & Palmer Engineering, Inc., upon non-refundable payment of $30.00.
No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid opening.
Each Bidder is required to submit a "Bid Form", "Bid Bond," "Form of Qualification of Bidder," "Non-Collusion Affidavit" and "Immigration and Security Form" as outlined in the bid documents along with an initialed copy of the City of Hiram’s Standard Conditions. Each bidder must be a prequalified contractor with the City of Hiram prior to the bid being submitted.
This contract is locally funded. The City of Hiram reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities, or to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise.
