Street Improvements
Bid Recipient: City of Hiram, 217 Main Street, Hiram, GA 30141
Description:
The City of Hiram, Georgia will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the “Street Improvements”. This includes approximately 4500 L.F. of 6" PC 350 DIP & C900 PVC Water Main; 2016 L.F. of Sidewalk, 2100 L.F. of curb and gutter, and 1100 L.F. of 18” storm pipe with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Bids shall be on Unit Price Items.
The project shall be Substantially Complete within 180 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed of the contract.
The City of Hiram will receive bids until 10:00 AM on March 15, 2013 at 217 Main Street, Hiram, Georgia 30141. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Special Requirements:

Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00200 “INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS.”
Miscellaneous:
No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening.
Each Bidder is required to submit a “Bid form”, “Bid Bond”, “Non-Collusion Affidavit” and
“Immigration and Security Form” as outlined in Section 00250, and an initialed copy of each page of
Section 00801. Each Bidder must be prequalified with the City of Hiram for Water Main, Storm Sewer, and Asphalt Paving.
