The Events Place is available for rental for private personal use only, and cannot be used in conjunction with any activity that requires a financial transaction. No public or open to the public events are allowed. The Events Place is used for bridal showers, weddings, receptions, baby showers, family reunions, birthday parties, church events, company seminars, and many other special events. 
 
 
The Events Place is beautifully decorated and provides:

  • The ease of two separate rooms adjoined by two french doors to allow the availability of separation of activities during your event or provide a more intimate setting for family gatherings, dinners, parties, weddings, receptions or meetings.
  • Two warming kitchens with refrigerators (NO icemaker) and microwaves.
  • Rental includes usage of six-foot long tables or 60-inch round tables (or a combination) with chairs.

The round tables provide seating capacity for eight, and the maximum seating capacity is 80.

 Reservations dates and times are not confirmed as reserved until all necessary documentation and payments have been received.

Any reservation that requests alcohol to be served, requires a City of Hiram officer to contracted to be on site.  The fee for the officer is $40.00 per hour (cash payment only due no less than 30 days prior to scheduled date of event).  The officer will be scheduled to arrive at the listed time of arrival for guests.  Alcohol cannot be served until the officer has arrived.   The officer will remain on the property until the event is over, all guests have departed, and the building has been secured. The City of Hiram will assign the officer on duty for your event.  
 

Facility rental rates and room availability is subject to change without notice.

Rental Hours:

Monday – Thursday for at least 3 hours between 8AM and 10PM.

Friday-Sunday for at least 5 hours between 8AM and 10PM.

ALL RENTAL TIMES INCLUDE SET UP AND CLEAN UP WITHIN THE PAID RENTAL TIME

Rentals are not accepted on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day After, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, or on weekends that are directly preceded or followed by a City Holiday.

Required Officer on Duty (If serving alcohol): $40.00/hour (payable in cash)

RENTAL FEE: A minimum of $150.00 must be paid at the time the contract is submitted towards the total rental rate. The balance of the rental fee must be paid no later than thirty (30) days prior to the reservation date or the event can be cancelled and deposit forfeited. If your rental is within 10 days of signing the contract, the total rental fee is due in CASH. If you must cancel your reservation, a refund will take place in accordance with the cancellation policy stated in the attached Rules/Regulations.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT:  A $350.00 Damage Deposit Check must be paid at the time of Key Pick-Up for the Facility. This check is held for up to ten (10) business days after the event date. Provided there is no damage or breach of contract, it will be returned to the renter; checks not picked up will be shredded. If there is damage or breach of contract, fees will be assessed and collected from the damage deposit.
